I have always loved texture and therefore have to touch everything!

I am a Richmond, Virginia based fiber artist who grew up spending a great deal of time in the outdoors of beautiful Lancaster County Pennsylvania. Long drives through the rolling farmlands blanketed with colorful Amish quilts and walks through the fern and moss covered countrysides formed a foundation of a great appreciation for nature in all her glory.

I have a degree in Painting & Printmaking from Virginia Commonwealth University. The same principles learned earning that degree, combined with a love of fiber materials, finds me creating this body of work. The tools have changed. I practice both hand sewing techniques and machine stitching in my work. I use only the finest fiber materials as well as handmade papers and gifts from nature such as seed pods, silk cocoons, driftwood and other finds.

All works are one of a kind, crafted in a smoke free home.
